What devnet SOL is for
Devnet is a full Solana network where SOL has no value. Solstack's tools work there the same way they do on mainnet, so you can create a token, run a multisend or lock tokens with test SOL first. See devnet vs. mainnet.
Where the SOL comes from
Solstack's own devnet faucet first: a funded wallet that sends up to 1 SOL per request. If it's empty or you've hit its limit, the page falls back to Solana's public faucet.
Limits
Requests are limited per wallet and per IP address. When you hit the limit, the message says roughly when to try again. The public fallback has its own limits and sometimes answers with a generic error; wait, or ask for a smaller amount.
The two tasks
Before your first request, the faucet asks you to follow Solstack on X and subscribe on YouTube. It can't check either, so opening each link counts as done, remembered in this browser.

FAQ
Can I get mainnet SOL?
No. Faucets only exist on test networks such as devnet.
Rate-limited?
Each wallet address and IP gets one drip every 8 hours. Try again once that time has passed.
Is devnet SOL worth anything?
No.
